Karate Kids Have Big Hearts
Each year students at Tsunami Karate in Perkasie are challenged to donate a gift they received during the holiday to A Woman’s Place. This January, as the foyer and parent- viewing area of Tsunami Karate quickly overflowed with brand new toys, it became evident that these “Karate Kids” have big hearts.
Excitement brewed as parents shared stories of children insisting on donating not just any gift, but often his or her favorite gift, in hopes of making a child who is not so fortunate have a brighter day. The gifts will be distributed to victims of domestic abuse at “A Woman’s Place.”
