There is still time to apply for a matching grant that could provide you with up to $1,500 for improvements to your façade.

The Design Grant Committee will continue to accept applications until the end of the year or when the $10,000 that is available runs out, whichever comes first, says committee chairman Mike Engard.

“We want businesses to participate in this great program,” says Engard. “If you are thinking about making changes to your façade, this grant could help make up your mind.”

The grant money, which does not have to be repaid, can be used to renovate, remodel or revive facades and storefront. Eligible projects include awnings, landscaping, lighting and painting. Signs are not included.
