Perkasie Olde Towne Association

Thanks to everyone who made this year’s “Hot Ribs Cool Jazz Festival” the biggest and best yet. With great music, a crowded field of hot ribs competitors and attractions for kids of all ages, there as a little something for everyone. Of course, beautiful weather didn’t hurt, either.

The Events Committee, headed by Cathy Weierbach and including Cindy Smith and Cheryl Gilbert, deserve most of the kudos for all the hard work they put into planning the day. Until you’ve done it, there’s no explaining the myriad of details that go into making such a production go off without a major hitch. Thanks, too, to Perkasie Borough Council and Manager Dan Olpere, the Public Works, Electricity and Police departments, and the fire police for being flexible in helping us adjust to ever changing situations.

We’ve already begun talking about how we can make next year’s event even bigger and better!
